Braw spot for a family getaway! The big beds were pure comfy, and the leisure area had a cracking pool. Just a wee setback with the bland food, though. A bit more seasoning would go a long way!

Could improve sound insulation as noise from the hallway was noticeable at times.

Exceptional breakfast and homey atmosphere
My stay included a fabulous buffet breakfast featuring freshly squeezed juice, gluten-free options, and a variety of pastries that were hard to resist. The atmosphere throughout the hotel felt like a cozy home, with inviting lounge areas perfect for winding down after a long day. The friendly interactions with the staff made the experience all the more enjoyable, and I especially appreciated the high standards of cleanliness in all areas. I noticed some signs of wear and tear that could be addressed.

It was just a well-suited match for a two-day stay with outstanding value. The spa facilities were a pleasant surprise, especially the sauna that helped me unwind after a long drive. Check if the room heating works before settling in.

I stayed in a Superior Double Room and it was really spacious! The roll-top bath was such a fun touch, definitely a highlight. Plus, decor had a cool horse theme with lots of historical pictures. It made the room feel really unique. My only gripe would be that the noise insulation wasn't great, I could hear a bit from the hallway. comfy and stylish for sure.

The hotel's public areas feature a cozy charm with a roaring fireplace that adds a warm ambiance during cold days. The leisure area has a pool which provides a nice way to wind down after a long journey, though it lacks some basic amenities like towel hooks.
My superior single room suffered from noise issues due to its proximity to the gym, with weight clangs disturbing sleep late into the night and early in the morning. The breakfast experience left much to be desired. during previous stays, the gluten-free options were severely lacking, and on one occasion, pastries weren’t replenished in a timely manner, making it hard to enjoy a proper meal. The lighting in the rooms could use a refresh, as it’s quite dim and doesn’t set the right vibe for relaxation.
